Business situation
JetMenu aimed to turn the in-flight journey into a connected digital commerce experience for meals, entertainment, internet and duty-free purchases.
What was holding it back
Passengers needed speed and simplicity in an environment affected by connectivity constraints, limited attention and different travel behaviours. The business opportunity was to make ancillary services easier to discover and purchase.
Transformation
Upsense used research, competitor analysis, personas, service flows and mobile-product design to create a customer journey connecting passenger needs with airline commerce opportunities.
What changed
The resulting product concept gave the airline a clearer digital service model for in-flight discovery, ordering, payment and entertainment access.
The nextintelligent layer.
An AI-era JetMenu could become a contextual passenger assistant: multilingual product discovery, meal recommendations, connection-aware support, personalised offers, travel Q&A and service requests — while keeping the core journey fast and simple.
The work as itwas delivered.
